Frequently Asked Questions (Engineering FAQ)
Single-Sided is used for standard labels or wrappers where only one side needs release properties. Double-Sided is used when the paper needs to be absolutely flat (the PE on the back balances the tension) or for adhesive transfer tapes where both sides contact adhesive.
It is risky. Glassine is sensitive to humidity and tends to curl. For sheeted applications (like office labels), we recommend CCK or Lay-flat PE Coated Paper to prevent printer jams.
